On a blustery cold day in the picturesque Astoria Park in Queens, New York, I’d never felt so much warmth emitting from one family. Bundled up in all their best, Elli and Brian celebrated their special day surrounded by relatives from as far away as Europe. Elli, a Netherland native, couldn’t stop smiling throughout the entirety of the day which offered me the opportunity to capture her and her families shining personalities. Though this intimate affair was brief, it gave us no less opportunity to create one timeless love story surrounded by historic structures juxtaposed against stoic trees. And the good times didn’t stop at the ceremony. The fun resumed at their reception that took place in a quaint place called The Bonnie in Astoria, Queens. The charming setting afforded us the perfect backdrop for a casual shoot full of laughter and love.
